Description
A good clean post 1953 Womens Voluntary Service Civil Defence plated badge that bears the Queen’s Crown. Reverse side of badge has the makers mark “Marples & Beasley”. Retains original pin fittings. The Women’s Voluntary Service’ (WVS) later became the ‘Women’s Royal Voluntary Services’ in 1966.
